rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Martin Kemp<\/a> made a cheeky dig at former <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/spandau-ballet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spandau Ballet<\/a> bandmate Tony Hadley after he was <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/12\/04\/sixth-im-a-celebrity-contestant-leave-jungle-announced-25153689\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">axed from I\u2019m A Celebrity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The singer and actor, 64, appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/good-morning-britain\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Good Morning Britain<\/a> today to discuss his exit from the TV show and couldn\u2019t resist making a little quip at Tony\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n<p>They famously fell out in 2017 after Tony quit the band <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2018\/06\/13\/tony-hadley-leave-spandau-ballet-7627660\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">following a period of heightened tension<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/charlotte-hawkins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Charlotte Hawkins<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/adil-ray\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adil Ray<\/a> asked Martin to talk more about his revelation on the reality programme that he had once auditioned for <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/james-bond\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">James Bond<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Martin laughed and admitted that it was <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/11\/18\/im-a-celebrity-star-reveals-went-pierce-brosnan-james-bond-24736514\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an anecdote he had \u2018dined out on for years\u2019<\/a> after 007 producer Barbara Broccoli asked him to come in and read for the part when he was living in LA.<\/p>\n<p>However, he suggested that now he\u2019d rather play a \u2018James Bond baddie\u2019 \u2013 but when Adil suggested Martin should be the suave spy and his brother and fellow Spandau Ballet star Gary Kemp could be the villain, Martin responded: \u2018Are This has not changed and 2015 was the last time we were able to perform or work with him.
