href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/matt-willis\/\">Matt Willis<\/a> has admitted he regrets going on<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/im-a-celebrity\/\"> I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026Get Me Out of Here<\/a>, despite walking away the victor of the <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/itv\/\">ITV<\/a> show.<\/p>\n<p>The 42-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/busted\/\">Busted<\/a> member \u2013 who currently hosts <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/love-is-blind\/\">Love is Blind<\/a> UK with wife <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/emma-willis\/\">Emma Willis<\/a> \u2013 went in for the sixth series of the reality show and was crowned King of the Jungle in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>However, he has now shared that the win \u2018spun him out\u2019, as the heightened celebrity that came with it was difficult to deal with.<\/p>\n<p>Describing it as the moment he \u2018lost the narrative\u2019, Matt explained how he was already in a \u2018bad place\u2019 before signing up for the show.<\/p>\n<p>In the midst of pursuing a solo career, after Busted had disbanded in 2005, he said his label was refusing to release his album after a series of disappointing singles. But I didn’t feel like that.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u2018I felt like I won the show but lost myself, which is a very, very strange headspace to be in.
