Vanessa Feltz<\/a> has revealed that she has turned down I\u2019m A Celebrity <\/a>seven times.<\/p>\n

The TV presenter, 63, said she would rather earn money as a sex worker than become a campmate on the ITV series.<\/p>\n

Vanessa, who hosts her own self-titled daytime show on Channel 5<\/a>, spilled the beans on why she has continued to turn down the jungle.<\/p>\n

The series, hosted by Ant and Dec, returns this winter with a new batch of stars all braving the Australian jungle.<\/p>\n

But speaking to The Sun,<\/a> Vanessa said: ‘I just don’t want to do it.<\/p>\n

‘So I just hate it so much. I’d really hate it, hate it. I just don’t want to do it, but they never think that I really mean it.<\/p>\n

‘They always think that I must want more money and I just don’t, I don’t want to do it.<\/p>\n

‘That’s how I feel about that. Seven times. The answer is no, thank you. I just don’t want to do it, I’m telling the truth.’<\/p>\n

Vanessa’s strong stance may come as a surprise to viewers who saw her on the first ever Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> and the Ultimate Big Brother<\/a> in 2010. <\/p>\n

Her first appearance is infamous for her ‘meltdown’ where she wrote on the kitchen table.<\/p>\n

After being put up for the public vote, Vanessa stole the chalk used for the shopping board and began frantically writing on the kitchen table.<\/p>\n

She later explained that the act was born out of boredom.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the 63-year-old announced she was leaving<\/a> This Morning<\/a> after 33 years.<\/p>\n

The broadcaster was a regular contributor to ITV<\/a>, but now has her own show on Channel 5<\/a>, which she has described as a \u2018politics-free zone\u2019.<\/p>\n

However, in June her new talk show was hit with nearly 2,000 Ofcom complaints<\/a> after fashion designer Karen Millen, who was invited on as a guest, called a mother \u2018selfish\u2019 for wanting to breastfeed.<\/p>\n

Vanessa reportedly asked Karen what she thought about breastfeeding a three-year-old child.<\/p>\n

Karen replied: \u2018There\u2019s no benefit, is there, for a child to be breastfed beyond six months really. I think it\u2019s quite a selfish thing on the mother\u2019s part.\u2019<\/p>\n
