transformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The former Coronation Street actor, 41, and The Only Way is <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/essex\/\">Essex<\/a> star, 34, originally<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/09\/15\/ryan-thomas-lucy-mecklenburgh-move-into-family-home-renovation-19505071\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> bought their house in 2021 but were still waiting to move in.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lucy had been keeping her <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/instagram\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Instagram<\/a> followers up to date with the progress being made on their house as they completely renovated the interior.<\/p>\n<p>Two years after originally buying the place and selling their former property in Essex, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/10\/17\/ryan-thomas-and-lucy-mecklenburgh-enjoy-family-day-amid-ntas-drama-17576295\/\"><strong>Ryan and Lucy were able to move <\/strong><\/a>into their new family home and celebrate.<\/p>\n<p>But despite having a gorgeous new abode, Lucy recently candidly revealed that she and Ryan are actually sleeping in separate rooms.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/podcasts\/\">podcast<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/gb\/podcast\/at-home-with-the-thomas-bros\/id1819024309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">At Home with the Thomas Bro\u2019s <\/a>with his brothers Scott and Adam, Lucy told listeners: ‘Basically we sleep in separate bedrooms because Ryan is a nightmare sleeper. Not to mention, the space also has a breakfast bar and envious floor-to-ceiling wine fridge.<\/p>\n<p>Lucy is clearly a fan of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/interiors\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">interiors<\/a> and has added plenty of chic neutral touches throughout the property, as well as a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/plants\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">plants<\/a> and framed artwork. I really didn’t expect to get so emotional, but I moved out of my home of 11 years this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018That\u2019s how we spent our half-term \u2013 actually the kids had the best time. We had mixed emotions because we outgrew this house so long ago, we’ve made the big move to Manchester and we’re really happy. But there are so many memories I have hung on to in this house.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Opening up further, she added: \u2018I went from being single, it was my first big renovation project, it was my first real home since moving out of my parents. I brought both my babies back from hospital here and honestly there’s something about that, that I could never get rid of this house.
