Ricky Hatton<\/a> has died at the age of 46 and has been remembered by his family.<\/p>\n

The British boxing icon was found dead at his home<\/a> in Greater Manchester on Sunday, with police confirming ‘there are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances.\u2019<\/p>\n

Tributes have been pouring in for Hatton<\/a>, with his celebrity pals paying tribute to the late star.<\/p>\n

class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ricky Hatton’s showbiz career<\/h2>\n<p>In 2023,<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/09\/26\/dancing-on-ice-2024-ricky-hatton-confirmed-19558027\/\"> Hatton was the first competitor announced<\/a> for the 16th season of the <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/itv\/\">ITV<\/a> series Dancing on Ice.<\/p>\n<p>He was also the first contestant eliminated when the show began on January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>He said at the time: \u2018I\u2019m gutted to be going home. I may be out in the first round, but I\u2019ve had a great time and made some wonderful friends.’<\/p>\n<p>During his time on the show, he<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/01\/24\/stephen-mulhern-reveals-painful-injury-punch-dancing-ice-20163061\/\"> playfully punched Stephen Mulhern on the arm<\/a> in a mock sketch. Stephen revealed that he received a big bruise from the jokey incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He nearly knocked me out. If I showed you the bruise, it is massive. I’ve met her at a few functions and at different events over the years.<\/p>\n<p>‘Every time we’ve spoken we’ve hit it off and got on with each other.’<\/p>\n<p>He added: ‘I knew how we had got on so well every time we met each other. I probably thought I had half a chance.<\/p>\n<p>‘It’s amazing [to find] someone you\u2019ve probably known for 25 years. I’ve been in relationships, and she’s been in relationships. I’ve had my kids, and she’s had her kids. And then 25 years late,r we found each other.
