href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/10\/06\/00s-tv-star-unrecognisable-feminine-transformation-weight-loss-21743721\/\">TV personality, 40<\/a>, has known the Slipknot star, 48, since 1999, which is when his band toured with Ozzfest, which was founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/07\/06\/sharon-osbourne-declares-im-done-ozzys-final-black-sabbath-show-23592035\/\">Kelly’s famous parents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After striking up a close friendship, they revealed in February 2022 that things had turned romantic, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/12\/04\/ozzy-osbourne-hugs-baby-grandson-wholesome-75th-birthday-party-19925169\/\">welcoming their son, Sidney<\/a>, later that year.<\/p>\n<p>And in somewhat of a full-circle moment, Sid popped the question backstage at <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/07\/05\/ozzy-osbourne-emotional-rocks-final-gig-you-no-idea-feel-23590439\/\">Black Sabbath’s final gig<\/a> this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>In a behind the scenes video from luxury jeweller Mouawad, Sid was seen meeting with boss Pascal Mouawad as he revealed the connection he wanted the custom ring to have with Kelly’s late friend Joan Rivers.<\/p>\n<p>‘So I have a nickname for Kelly, and it’s “Honeybee” and coincidentally a friend of hers, Joan Rivers used to call her this,’ he revealed. ‘It was a nickname [Joan] had for her. around’ and ‘spreading good energy’, and so he wanted a bee and pollen-inspired design.<\/p>\n<p>The 18K yellow gold ring has a beehive-inspired structure, along with white and yellow diamonds, and a 2.5 carat diamond.<\/p>\n<p>He fought back tears after seeing the ring, and said it was ‘more than perfect’.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday night, Ozzy Osbourne and his bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward played together for the first time in 20 years, which was made bittersweet by <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/07\/05\/ozzy-osbournes-health-issues-eerie-life-expectancy-prediction-ahead-final-performance-23568911\/\">Ozzy bowing out from performing<\/a> for good.<\/p>\n<p>But giving everyone something to celebrate, Sid got down on one knee behind the scenes at Birmingham’s Villa Park, where over 40,000 fans\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/07\/06\/hollywood-heavyweight-crashes-black-sabbath-mosh-pit-last-ever-gig-23593380\/\">including Hollywood’s Jason Momoa<\/a>\u2014waited to see the rock true Ozzy style, he couldn’t resist a gag, butting in with: ‘F**k off, you’re not marrying my daughter, are you?’<\/p>\n<p>Sid laughed as he addressed Kelly: ‘Kelly, you know I love you more than anything. <\/p>\n<p>‘Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you.’<\/p>\n<p>‘So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?’, he asked We don’t need the certificate,’ she told Us Weekly last year.<\/p>\n<p>‘But I know Sid really wants to get married, so we will get married. Do we want to be close to the studio? Or do we want to go back to England?’ Kelly mused.<\/p>\n<p>‘My son is going to go to school in England. The school system is a bit different in the UK, and I like the idea of uniforms.
